Billing and Order Status Inquiries

Have questions about an invoice or pending order status? Please be as clear as possible with your questions, include your full name, the name of the person who the books were billed or charged to, and date. DON'T FORGET to tell us how we can contact you with the results of your inquiry.

Order Status Enter "Order Inquiry" in the subject line. Please be sure to include your full name as listed on your order, complete mailing address, and the name of the person who the books were billed or charged to, if different than yourself.

We will make every effort to respond to your inquiry the same business day that we receive it. In some cases it may take us a couple of days to get an answer for you but we will acknowledge receipt of your inquiry and will get you an answer as soon as possible. 

Methods of Payment

We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and check or money orders in US Dollars.

If you are ordering online complete your shopping cart and continue to checkout. After you have completed your billing and shipping information proceed to the payment area.

Check or Money Order

Checks and money orders should be sent with your order. Don't forget to include shipping costs.

If you order on-line or call in, we will pull your order and hold it for up to ten days pending receipt of your check or money order. As soon as payment is received, your order will be shipped.

Privacy & Security

At The Women's Board, we respect your privacy and do not disclose your information to outside parties. The information we request is used strictly to process orders and to contact you should we have questions regarding your order, notify you of order status and respond to your inquiries.

When placing your order, you are automatically added to our mailing list to receive our event materials which are generally produced a couple of times annually. If you would rather not receive these mailings, simply notify us and we will remove you from our mailing list.

Should we change our privacy policy, changes will be posted on this page to insure that you are always aware of how we use the information we collect and under what circumstances it would be disclosed.

Third-party web site links

While we support the protection of privacy on the Internet, The Women's Board cannot be responsible for the actions of third parties. We encourage you to read the posted privacy statement whenever interacting with any web site as you will be subject to the their privacy policies.

Returns

The Women's Board guarantees that books ordered from this website will be free of defects. In the event you receive a defective book you may return it within thirty (30) days for exchange.

Please understand that selling books is not our primary business, and that the relatively low volume of our book sales prevents us from accepting returns of otherwise defect-free books.

To ensure proper exchange please include in the shipping package a copy of the e-mail confirmation you received at the time you placed your order with your name, address and daytime phone number.

Please allow minimum 7-10 business days for The Women's Board to receive and process your exchange.

We're sorry but The Women's Board will not accept any packages that are shipped COD.

Shipping within the USA

Our standard handling within the United States is $6.00 per order and is generally shipped US Post Book Rate. We occasionally ship UPS or FedEx Ground at our discretion.

If you have a preference or would like express service (i.e. Priority 1st, Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3 Day Select, etc) you will need to contact us directly and we will be glad to check on available options and give you a quote. These shipping services are additional charge unless otherwise stated by us.

NOTE: UPS and FedEx Ground Services cannot deliver to PO Boxes or FPO/APO addresses. Media Mail (formerly known as Book Rate Mail) generally take from 3 to 10 days depending on destination. UPS Ground and FedEx Ground Services take from 1 day to 7 days depending on destination. UPS Ground and FedEx Ground Service standard delivery do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

Canadian and International Orders

Canadian and International orders are charged actual shipping costs. If you are placing your order through our website, shipping charges do not appear on your order and are calculated when your order is processed.

Due to US Post Office policy and rate changes, our standard shipping for Canadian and International shipments is Global pack where available and whenever possible. Orders which cannot be shipped via Global pack due to weight and size restrictions will be shipped the most economical way possible, including insurance.

NOTE:  The Women's Board cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged shipments if you refuse insurance where available.

If you have a preference of air mail or surface post, please let us know when ordering. If you need your order quickly we will be glad to check on the options available and give you a quote.

Customs duty is the sole responsibility of the party receiving the shipment. The Women's Board cannot be responsible for customs delays.

Global packs generally take 1-2 weeks depending upon destination.

Surface shipments take about 2 to 4 weeks to Canada, 6 weeks to the United Kingdom, 6 to 8 weeks to Japan and Australia, and 10 to 12 weeks to Brazil, for a few examples.
